Don Cushing, PE, President, has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of civil engineering design and project management for both private development and public works. He applies his expertise to all projects through mentoring and team development.
Don Cushing Associates has established valuable relationships with surveyors, mechanical, structural and electrical engineers, planners, environmental specialists, and landscape architects. The principal, project manager, and design engineers participate in open discussions, exploring possibilities that benefit the owner — before choosing a direction — and always with the goal to “preserve and protect the general welfare of the public”.
Over the past 20 years, Don has made public presentations to City Councils, Planning Commissions, Hearings Officers and Engineering Departments. He is involved in all projects through mentoring and increasing the skills of the team.
Approximately 70% of our projects are Land Development, consisting of subdivisions, infill projects, hospitals, commercial buildings, and schools. Our experience includes preparation of master plans for storm, sanitary and water systems.
